About us...
A new membership form for financial year 2010/2011 is now available to download by clicking this link: MembershipForm(If asked for a password, click cancel and it should open for you) Rallies Rallies are held on the first Saturday of each month (occasionally this may be altered – advance notice is given to members within the monthly newsletter). The rallies are organized instructional days; groups are organized taking into account the members present, their mounts and the attending instructors. A regular rally will see each member riding in two lessons in the morning and one in the afternoon. Riders are required to notify the rally organiser if they are attending the rally. An email is sent out to members two weeks prior to the rally requesting bookings - riders are than placed into appropriate groups. If members do not book in they risk not being able to ride at the rally that day. Members
are needed to help set up and pack up the equipment and do an occasional stint
in the canteen. A minimal rally cap
is payable at each rally. STARTING
TIME: ARRIVAL is at CANTEEN:
A BBQ canteen is provided for lunch at rallies, prices are minimal and it is run
on a roster system. The
committee draws up a roster and posts it in the newsletter, this involves two
family groups (so you can work it out amongst yourselves) to make themselves
available to run the canteen on their designated rally.
The BBQ, food etc is provided, we just need the rostered members to take
charge. We ask that if you are
unable to do your canteen stint to organize another member to cover for you. The
kettle is on for hot drinks free of charge to members and guests on rally days. Uniforms Optional
Rugby
Tops, Polo Tops and Caps are available for purchase. They are in our club
colours of blue and white, printed
with the Hoofbeats Logo. Special
Events A
variety of events are held throughout the year, including The Annual Show, Spring
Show, Western Mini Show, ODE’s, Games Day, Showjumping Days and Dressage.
The events are open to all, they raise funds for our club and give our
members an opportunity to compete in a variety of events. The events are put
together by sub-committees – we ask the assistance of club members to run
these days as they take a lot of work and are for the benefit of all members. Clinics Clinics
are extra activities put on for members, they are run independently of rallies
and not considered fundraisers. We
organize a guest instructor, and hold a day or weekend clinic.

and any other expenses. Rules
